We are a non-profit organization founded by individuals from EDEM community in the NSUKKA local government of Enugu state, Nigeria, now residing in the United States and Canada. Our mission is to give back to our community and beyond, driven by the values of our heritage and the opportunities of our new homes.
Our Story
As sons and daughters of EDEM, we were nurtured by the rich cultural heritage and strong sense of community that defines our people. Now, as we thrive in the United States and Canada, we are compelled to make a positive impact on the lives of others. EDEM UNITED USA INC is our collective effort to pool resources, expertise, and passion to benefit our community and the world.

We envision a future where individuals from EDEM and beyond have access to quality education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and social support. We aim to bridge the gap between our community and the resources needed to thrive.

GOALS
– To promote cultural awareness and unity among members and help improve the quality of life of the less privileged in our local communities in the USA through donations or volunteer services and also help those at home (Edem, Nigeria) through development projects such as health education and medical services.
– To support the economic, educational, cultural, and social growth of Edem and her indigenes.
– To promote the welfare of the members.
– To support legitimate charitable organizations and humanitarian causes anywhere in the world especially here in the USA.
– To promote culture and communal relationships of the members this will include bi-yearly conventions.
Our Work
Our programs focus on educational scholarships, healthcare initiatives, economic empowerment, good road networks, provision of clean water, building schools, poverty alleviation, promoting our cultural heritage, creating jobs, and general social amenities. We are open to partnering with local organizations, stakeholders, international organizations, government agencies, companies, and individuals to ensure our efforts are effective and sustainable.
